We are pleased to present an introductory event designed specifically for Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud services. This co-organized event by The Engineering Students' Union, HKUSTSU and AWS Educate Student Ambassadors, will be led by senior AWS solution architect, Mr. Jacky WU, who will provide a clear and concise understanding of cloud technology and AWS core services, including computing, storage, database, networking, and more. The event is open to students and teachers from all backgrounds and fields of study who are interested in cloud computing or technology, even those who are not from science or engineering backgrounds. Attendees will have the opportunity to gain practical industry insights and learn about cloud technology from 0 to 1.
Through the cloud training day, students will gain a deeper understanding of AWS's main services and related applications. They will also learn how to deploy IT services on the AWS platform easily and have the opportunity to interact face-to-face with senior AWS solution architects. We cordially invite those interested and passionate about AWS to join us for this event.
This talk can be counted towards ENGG2010 with registration prioritisation for members. Attendance will NOT be counted for students who are late for more than 15 minutes. Please stay until the end of the seminar for attendance record.

About the guest speaker:
Jacky Wu, an FSI Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS), brings more than 13 years of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining AWS, he worked at Calypso Technology (acquired by Nasdaq), delivering front-to-back cross-asset trading systems to major financial institutions, leveraging the power of AWS services. Before that, he developed high-frequency trading and automated trading systems for hedge funds and investment banks.
